During Q1 2014 this page will begin listing suggested and/or recommended changes to data fields, forms/document uploads, and/or submittal elements that make up electronic reporting for the California Unified Program. The revisions listed would normally involve implementing statutory and/or regulator changes prior to implementation in a major revision release of CERS, sometimes referred to as "CERS3." The future page will allow members of the CERS community to submit new revisions and comment on existing ones during the course of 2014 (and possibly later). Cal/EPA will use the information gathered from the commmunity on this web site, various workshops and other venures to develop a final set of proposed revisions that would be put forward into the regulation development process. Cal/EPA does not anticipate a CERS3 release reflecting such revisions until some point in time after late 2015.

Changes that can be made to the current version of CERS ("CERS2") that don't involve statutory/regulator changes will be referred to as "Enhancements", and these enhancements will be listed/managed on the CERS2 Enhancements Listing web page.
